In between our science camp seasons, the Coastal Institute staff are available to plan and lead overnight adventure trips for groups of high school students. These trips are fully customized to fit the needs of your group. Do you want your students to bond at the beginning of the school year? Do you want them to earn service hours and forge meaning together by completing a service learning project? We can help!
Here's why you should talk to the Coastal Institute staff about planning and leading your trip:
- Experienced staff that are CPR/First Aid certified and love mentoring students on meaningful expeditions
- We handle logistics: transportation, lodging, food, etc.
- We work with you to identify your goals: science, exploration, service learning, teambuilding, etc.
- We're passionate about planning and leading incredible trips!
Past trips have ranged in length from two days to ten days and have visited Big Sur, Catalina Island, Channel Islands National Park, Lopez Lake Recreation Area, and even Hawaii!
