What is the Estero Bay Science Camp Weekend?

This unique weekend science camp experience will allow students to have a fun and educational experience away from home.  Students from the Estero Bay area are invited to Camp Ocean Pines, where they will be taught by the Coastal Institute expert naturalist staff and supervised in-cabin by volunteer parent chaperones.

Students who come to the Estero Bay Science Camp will:

  • Experience target sports like archery and tomahawks
  • Meet our live raptors – Rufus the red-tailed hawk and Earl the great horned owl
  • Hike to the tide-pools and discover amazing nature
  • Learn campfire songs/skits and roast marshmallows!

A group of dedicated parents will be hosting fundraising events throughout the fall to raise money.  Once registration closes on December 9th, Camp Ocean Pines will take the funds raised and divide them between all of the families that choose payment option #3 below.
